The airlines will charge an agency by debit memo for reservations that are held, but not ticketed, before the stated ticketing deadline. The Auto PNR Cancel Module helps to save the agency from these costs. Each day, at a pre-determined time in the morning, the software sweeps all unticketed reservations created the day before and sends a reminder email to the booking agent that they need to issue the ticket for the reservation. Later that evening, before the airline can cancel the reservation and charge the agency, the software sweeps the reservations again and cancels those records that remain unticketed and not documented by the agent as an exception.
